Groundwater Observation Well Network (GOWN)
An Alberta Environment owned network of groundwater monitoring wells located in various aquifers throughout the province. Many of the wells are fitted with specialized electronic equipment to continually record groundwater levels, wells are pumped and sampled for water quality analysis, and historical groundwater information for active wells can now be accessed by the public.

Geology and Groundwater Resource Mapping Program
The Saskatchewan Watershed Authority, in partnership with the Saskatchewan Research Council , has developed this internet-based groundwater mapping program for Saskatchewan. Completed using GIS framework, maps have now been updated and published on the internet so they are accessible to the general public.

Manitoba Resources
Manitoba Water Quality Standards, Objectives, and Guidelines
These guidelines were established by Manitoba Water Stewardship in November 2011 to protect, maintain and rehabilitate water quality within the province of Manitoba.
Manitoba Water Council
The Council is the senior advisory board that reports to the Minister of Conservation and Water Stewardship; and advises the Minister on policies, programs, plans and legislation. The Council represents the regional diversity of Manitoba, and includes local government, agricultural, and environmental perspectives.
